Jamun Kala Khatta Mocktail Recipe

Mocktail Ingredients

  • Jamun fruit - 2 cups
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder - ¼ tsp
  • Black salt - ½ tsp
  • Club soda - 1 cup
  • Table salt - to line the edge of the glass (optional).

How To Make It

Step 1Deseed the jamun fruits and keep aside.

Step 2In a saucepan add water, sugar, jamuns and bring to a boil, let it cook until the jamuns soften completely.

Step 3Let the mixture cool down completely and then refrigerate it for about 2 to 3 hours so that the jamun flavor intensifies in the mixture.

Step 4Come back after 3 hours, blend the mixture well with the help of a hand blender or mixer and pass it through a fine sieve.

Step 5Collect the remaining liquid, discard the solids.

Step 6In the liquid, add black salt, lemon juice, black pepper powder and mix well.

Step 7Pour out in glasses and serve chilled.
